Berkshires Re-aggregation In a small experimental project, The Lyme Northern Forest Fund has purchased three adjacent parcels totaling 550 acres located in Otis Township in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts. Several additional adjacent parcels are currently being investigated. The strategy is to re-aggregate these smaller woodlots to form larger contiguous ownership blocks. Larger properties are unusual in the region and have both high conservation and market values.
