Conservation Easement on 19,225 Acres of Lyme’s Florida Timberlands Approved for Purchase by the State

The easement, resulting from a collaboration between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, The Conservation Fund, and Lyme, will permanently protect lands within the Lower Suwannee River and Gulf Watershed and provide habitat and corridors for rare plants and animals. It allows for the lands to continue to be harvested for timber production, contributing to the local economy.
