The Mustang Ranch property, located in the West Fork Trinity watershed in the Dallas-Fort Worth region of Texas, features over 33,000 linear feet of Mustang Creek and over 26,000 linear feet of tributaries. The property and adjacent areas were historically managed for grazing, cropland, and other forms of agriculture, resulting in significant stream modification and land clearing and conversion activities. The mitigation project seeks to improve the site’s ability to perform important wetland and aquatic resource functions.
